I have a genisis single speed that I bought in 2011. This bike has caused me no end of problems from a bottom bracket snapping while I was cycling, a replacement frame and the axle chain tension screw bending twice. Which was the reason for my visit to your store - I saw you were a genisis stockist on their website.
I explained the long story of issues I have suffered to your employee and he decided the best option was for a standard service and he would assess the damage that he noticed to the bottom bracket, look at the tension screw issue I was having and give the brakes a service which I asked for. At this point I walked the shop floor and purchased some basic bike parts and he told me that if I stuck around for a while he would get it done now instead of the next day. During that time he not only serviced my bike to the best standard I have ever seen but also came up with an innovative idea to stop my chain tension screw from bending and put it into action after discussing with me.
Needless to say my ride home was probably the most seamless comfortable and efficient journey that bike has ever produced! This was above and beyond duty of care to ensure a bike enthusiast like myself got the best information and reduced the likelihood of troubles in the future.
I will definitely be returning to your store when I get my cycle to work vouchers and I will seek the advice of the same employee to ask for his personal opinion as to which bike I should spend them on. He is an asset to your company.
