Travel Up misadvertised flights on their website so when i purchased my flights London - Cape Town with SAA I thought that they were reasonable. When i didn't receive my e-ticket within 24hrs as my confirmation e-mail states i made numerous calls to Travel Up, it took them almost a week to respond. I was told that they flights were misadvertised and that they couldn't honour them, they would require an additional £100 from me. I had already purchased coach tickets each end and arranged to surprise my Father so i was not in a position to cancel. Travel Up bullied me into taking the only viable, more expensive option and refused to reimburse me for the cost to change my coach tickets. Staff were rude and did not call when they said they would. I have sent three letters to the director who has not responded. I am pursuing legal action and have been advised that i have a very good case, i would encourage others to do the same.
