“I wanted a point and shoot to supplement my SLR and to...”

Written on: 21/04/2000 by Meryl Arbing. (1 review written)

Good Points
Fantastic Carl Zeiss lens giving sharp contrasty shots, weatherproof, supplementary waist level viewer, accurate metering

Bad Points
no override of automatic settings, fixed lens (but I will take the lens quality over zoom any day)

General Comments
I wanted a point and shoot to supplement my SLR and to have something that I could carry all the time and use in all wather conditions. All of my cameras (film and digital) have Zeiss optics and that was an important feature. I researched the field and couldn't find any other camera (aside from the Contax T2) which would fill these qualifications. I have NOT been disappointed. The Zeiss lens has never let me down.
