“Woolwich charging me £8000 for paying mortgage off early”

I took out 2 yr deal for mortgage expecting to be in house for at least 2 yrs but have had to move after 21 months and so the Woolwich are charging me an £8000 early repayment fee. They cannot explain why and how much profit they are making from this. All they say is basically 'tough' as it is in the small print. I feel robbed! There is no flexibility and no understanding if my individual circumstances they say that if they treated me as an individual it would not be 'fair'!!!!!
