For starters, I am not from Loaf, this is a genuine review and I have high expectations of customer service - see above! I ordered a Woody double bed from Loaf. There were slight issues over delivery dates but this was rectified immediately.
My experience is interesting. After reading only negative reviews about Loaf I was VERY concerned should my purchase have been faulty etc. However, I can safely say this was not the case. Yes, the help line come across as a bit condescending and somewhat upper class (this is off-putting at times as they are a bit too sweet and have a tendency to talk over you and appear impatient (they are undoubtedly bright but probably want to deal quickly with the issue))so I get the 'fluffy veneer' comments. But after 'scratching the surface' with a faulty product query they were attentive. I was put straight in touch with a supervisor/manager who emailed me personally and phoned me. They were clear about when they could change the bed. Then yesterday I had an update explaining the reason for later exchange dates. When I wrote to say I expected recompense, they IMMEDIATELY called me and said I would receive a refund of the delivery charge. Now, I am not in retail but because of their good communication and honesty I am happy to accept this. Loaf provide good quality products and stuff you don't see on the high street. It's quirky and honest. I would recommend them and advise anyone to try and see past the toff veneer.
