“Who messed up Quality Street?”

Used to love Quality Street for Christmas 40 years ago.
My wife just brought some home and they look the same but they are not.
I thought they were made by Rowntree, but the tin says Nestle.
Checked, yes they were bought out.
The cynic in me said "typical, new management thinks they know better"
Then I found this site and I'm not the only one to say this.
The product is expensive but mediocre and trades on the good name of it's predecessor.
