I am really disappointed about the way that David Lloyd Thames Valley Park have dealt with a membership issue with my daughter. The worry caused by this handling has ruined her Christmas. The issues centre around the contract she thought she was signing with their staff member (with two others present as her witnesses), compared to what she actually ended up signing. When she attempted to cancel she was informed that she had signed a 12 month contract - not what she thought had been sold to her. Having spoken to the General Manager, the response has been unsympathetic and militantly referring to the contract terms and conditions. Well I do not think this is a responsible way to do business with young people, I will be pursuing this on my daughters behalf through the Small Claims Court and I certainly would not recommend anyone signing a membership contract with David Lloyd Thames Valley Park without being absolutely sure what you are signing and the length of the contract you sign is the same as you have agreed too. Check and double check everything. It is a shame as a father I have had to step in due to the way my daughter has been treated. Really poor show David Lloyd Leisure Thames Valley Park . I expected more from your company
