I ordered a onesie, for my daughter's stocking, on the 9th of December. I telephoned them on the 13th to ask why it had not yet been dispatched and was told it was being "picked" and would be dispatched shortly. I telephoned again on the 16th and 18th and was told the same thing and was assured that I would have it by Christmas. On the 19th I was told that all order received by the 18th would be dispatched that evening and I would receive a confirmation email. Surprise Surprise no confirmation email came. I telephoned them on the 20th and was told that I was wrong and I had been told it would be dispatched by the end of the day on the 20th, I cancelled the order. Had I been told when I first started calling that there was a problem then I could have got an alternative elsewhere but at this late stage I am out of luck and my daughter is going to be disappointed. I can't imagine how many people have been let down by TJ Hughes this Christmas. I was surprised when the shops went bust but now my only surprise is that they lasted as long as they did! I will never use again
