“Technically awesome...Ozzy did his best”

Written on: 13/12/2013

Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler were just fantastic. I expected to enjoy the bass and lead guitar, but I didn't expect it to be so good. New drummer excellent too - I even enjoyed his solo. Ozzy was a bit odd, as he can't really move around much, so his stuttering walk was a bit sad to watch. I'd forgotten that he was diagnosed with Parkin Syndrome in 2005, so he's doing the best he can. He definitely has all his marbles though, and didn't fluff any lyrics. His voice was OK, if lacking a bit of range and power. It's an iconic band, and still worth seeing if you like heavy rock, and a sense of history.
