Closed my account as i had not used it for a few months, had said they had sent letters but nothing! When I told them it was my only account they said tough and i would have to rethink my banking habits!Branch staff are rude and unhelpful and the customer service over the phone is shocking they had email addresses that i've never ha and a telephone number that was completely wrong.
Do not touch this bank, have gone to Lloyds and they are amazing old fashioned banking. You know your bank manger and they were so good in changing everyhting over to me.
How can HSBC get away with closing accounts when they are not used on a 'regular bases'
