I took a 2 yr contract with Vodafone after chaecking that i have clear 3G signal for calls and Internet via my new blackberry and was assured it was perfect.
I did not get round to testing the service until after the initial 7 days cooling off period and realised very poor connection to 3G and kept moving to 2G just enough for calls.
I rang Customer Services several times to be told may just be a mast issue.
I then wrote in to complaints who brushed off my concerns with terms and conditions and that my cooling off period had elapsed...what a way to present yourself to a new customer.
I then wrote again to challenge, and ended up writing over several months and speaking to several managers whom all start call that they will resolve to end each call with terms and conditions instead of customer values.
I mean is this what they get taught when they recruit???
In the end I went to the Ombudsman as they would still take 50% termination fee to allow myself to leave.
Never trust Vodafone, its not worth being with them if you have to pay.
Customer Service none existant and managers very rude and need re-training.
I would want an apology also!
