“Do not deliver”

I was talked into using Hays after having lost faith in agencies completely. Not only did the representative I met not have the where with all to understand my work experience, he also had the audacity to question my integrity as to what I had done.
I supplied him with very good references from key positions I'd had with international companies, but because they didn't understand my industry (Tun Key Energy), they questioned to the point of belittling it.

And to add insult to injury, after obtaining what they wanted they didn't even follow up on jobs.

Basically, anything outside the realm of standard generic work, Hays will not understand. Leave well alone and apply direct.
