After a car accident on 5/11/2013, quotemehappy.com(low price insurance but excellent service), supplied a hire car from Enterprise through their Lye, Stourbridge branch. I had the car from 6/11/2013 till 5/12/2013. enterprise picked me up at 6:00 pm that evening. I had to wait about one hour while they collected the car from a existing customer, the car was then washed and prepared. The car was a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 registration VU13EHF, I viewed the car out the back and relying on representative to point out any damage all I saw was a few scratches on wing mirror. The representative did not squat or stand back looking a vehicle at 30 degree angle to determine any hairline dents. I signed all their paperwork.
On returning car on 5/12/2013. They said their was a dent on the passenger door, caused by possibly another car door being opened onto it. I could not personally see the damage, the representative then said squat and look at a 30 degree angle, (as I said I don't remember their representative (charming young girl) inspecting the car this closely) and their was the slightest mark (I think was their when I hired vehicle), but I had signed all their paperwork so I had no defence and payed the £230.00 pounds Excess. The representative pointed out I could have bought their insurance rather than drive on my own insurance.
To me this damage could have well have been on the car when I picked up as we only look for obvious damage.
In summary I feel cheated (the money is immaterial), but have learned my lesson and will not use them again and relate experience to many people as possible.
