I called the customer service team when I was having trouble registering an online account to be able to view my clubcard points. The first man I spoke took my email address and told me within the next 24 hours I should have no difficulty registering....well I was still having difficulties 3 days later...I then called again. The lady told me it was mu server and that it was the cookies that I was 'allowing'. Now I may be 26 but I'm not too clued up on how to stop these. It was the 'hurry up and get off my phone' attitude that she had that upset me. Anyway, after playing around with my computer a little more with no avail I started to become quite annoyed
It would still not allow me to register.
So I ring them yet again, a lady then says its because I am trying to register the clubcard number on my credit card which is supposedly different to my actual clubcard number....it would have been nice if someone had told me that in the first place.
As I was regsitering it whilst on the phone to her she started talking amongst her colleagues about TV programmes.. she was talking away. Then she started talking to her colleagues about another customer and his clubcard issues. I could not believe she was doing this whilst delivering me 'customer service'. Again, she was very abrupt and also had a 'get off the phone' attitude.
I work in a call centre myself. I would not dream of having a chat with my colleagues whilst on the phone to a customer. Let alone talk about another customer. Very poor service indeed Tesco. Very disappointed.
