Although the cost of the ticket was reasonable (late booking for a Christmas flight to Accra) the service and speed of booking was questionable. (Infact in 25 years of booking long haul flights this has been the longest I have ever waited!) I paid on Monday, recieved a 'confirmation' email on Tuesday, I replied straight away to confirm correct name and flights, didn't hear anything again until Friday when I was sent another confirmation email - this was despite calling 3x and leaving messages - promises of 'we will call you back in 10 mins' didn't happen. Finally today - Saturday after speaking to 5 different people and calling constantly over a 2 hour period I recieved the ticket. Each time I was told someone would call back, on one occasion I was told that the ticket wouldn't be issued until nearer the departure date (only 3 weeks away!). I feel that if I hadn't been so persistent I would still not have the ticket. It has been a pretty stressful experience, not least because I needed the ticket to apply for a visa... Not sure I would use again - unless I had a bag full of valium to get me through the wait and no visa to apply for!
