I ordered a Berghaus IA Fleece to fit into a Berghaus IA Jacket. I carefully read the descriptions of the available fleeces and on the website it clearly states that the Fortrose Fleece zips into any Berghaus IA jacket. Wrong! The Fortose fleece does not zip into the Suilven Jacket. Never mind, return the jacket and expect the fleece cost, original delivery charge and the return postage to be credited. Within the returned package I included screen prints of their website descriptions to prove I had been mislead and to avoid a drawn out email dialogue arguing the case. They have decided, generously in their view (a gesture of goodwill, sic), to just credit the fleece and the return postage, NOT the delivery charge.
I cannot complain about the speed of delivery, the quality of the fleece, itself, and don't feel their service has been terrible but do feel that if a company, through their website, misleads the public they should reimburse all the additional costs involved in the delivery and return of wrongly described and sold goods. For this reason I will not be using OutDoorMania nor any of there associated companies again, and will counsel my friends, who purchase a lot of sports and outdoor clothing, from using them.
All for the sake of £4.10
