Arrived at Heathrow having pre-booked my car rental with Avis. On approach to the courtesy bus stop/pick up point the Avis driver literally pulled up and drove off again. Had to weight 15 minutes for the next bus. On collection of the car rental I noticed the car was covered in scratches, I'd say every panel had noticeable scratches. However, the form they tried to get me to sign said 'no visible damage'. They basically can't be bothered to check the car but would be quick to charge you extra for previous damage when you return the car. Also, no Avios miles (BA points)were credited even though this was actually booked via the BA website. In short, very poor service from a supposedly reputable player.
