“I bought one of these for 20 English pounds. ”

Written on: 07/11/2007 by wanderingbob (1 review written)

Good Points
Fantastic build quality, chunky yet slender design. Looks the dogs testicles, 2 stage trigger. Safety. Accurate sights.

Bad Points
Needs a silencer fitting, bit on the heavy side for long hunts.

General Comments
I bought one of these for 20 English pounds.

had it a while and sold it for 80 then i missed it so i bought it

back. Then i stopped shooting for a bit and sold it for 120

then when i started shooting again i purchased it again for 100

then i sold it for 100 and a 3 day old B.S.A. XL Tactical

i have just purchased it again in exchange for a laptop i purchased

and repaired for 40 pounds.

This rifle and i seem to share an infinity with this rifle.

When on extended hunts after 30 odd shots, it tended to make

the left elbow tired and one occasion even caused some swelling.

but for pest control in the woods or at my farmer friends fields, it seems to excel.

99.9% single shot instant death kill ratio

My hw35k is the import with the long barrel and is fitted with a silver

Simmons Aetec 2.8-10 x 44 scope

This rifle is one of the only break action air rifles that allow the full use of this scope and the extra lens anti glare tube on!

This rifle can castrate rabbits at 75 yards with ease.

I have had the hw95k also, which i found to not feel as powerful although

the accuracy was phenomenal.

I had that off a friend for 75 quid with a nice scope thrown in and he had fully taped the rifle and scope, so that too looked the dogs testicles.

I would recommend the hw35 for any seasoned hunter and larger youngsters, and the hw95 for anyone

NO CHANCE AM I SELLING MY HW35 AGAIN EVER, IN FACT I AM IN THE PROCESS OF HAVING IT OVERHAULED COMPLETELY.
