The villa is in a fantastic location, very close to the beach and shops and perfect for catching all day sunshine. Matagorda is the quieter part of Puerto del Carmen and you don't need to hire a car. In spite of being situated next to a hotel, the villa pool area is shielded by palm trees therefore you don't feel overlooked. Suggest you bring bin liners, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, dish cloth as these are not provided and a few DVDs as the choice of TV channels aren't great! As a destination, Lanzarote is perfect, only a four hour flight and the temperatures at the end of October are around 25 degrees. It is quite windy but the pool temperature is perfect.
