Seems evident that Argos are running their stocks as low as possible which is counterintuitive to their long- standing ethos of if its on the shelf someone will buy it! 4 x occasions recently I have been in to my local Argos and they have not had stock. Value of the goods I would have bought around £1k.
Pay and reserve? What excuse for a business person thought of that contemptible concept?
You mean put money into Argos' coffers immediately and then trapes back the next day wasting time and money to come back?
Get over yourselves ! How arrogant to assume people wont go elsewhere.
Do they seriously think people are not already wondering about their viability as a business
Maybe they have just been bought by VCs or banks thus the moronic approach ?
If I were running a financial vehicle and had my eyes open, I'd be thinking of making some opening bids !
