“OK as longas nothing goes wrong”

Have used on 3 or 4 occasions and they are fine unless you hit any issues. On our last trip in Malta there was a mix up and our hotel room had not been reserved. As we arrived late at night we were given the only available room in the hotel - as you may guess not one of the better ones

No contact back after speaking to the call centre from Malta, no contact on our return. No ownership of the issues - they just blamed the hotel booking company and the hotel. Everything is on line in dealing with the company - except complaints! In these scenarios you have to write letters and print and send in photos. Two week delays to getting a letter back saying we hare looking at the problem, a further 3 -4 weeks with a response saying some else was to blame, then you have to write in again
Basically complaint handling by wearing you down until you give-up and get on with your life. They are I'm sure reasonably competitive but both hotels I booked on my last holiday (Sicily) had direct booking online reductions that did significantly undercut what Travel Republic were offering

Simple and easy to use but that is as good as it gets
