“Be patient”

I had been searching for a new digital SLR camera for some time. I came across the camera I wanted, £90 cheaper than that available in UK retail. It was eGlobal Digital store. I placed my order and was also asked to provide a utility bill to confirm my address. This I did by sending a pdf. The item was duly despatched to their courier, Quantium solutions. The indication was, that the item would be delivered in 9-14 working days. It did arrive on the 14th working day.

In the interim, I must say, I was a little apprehensive. I paid a significant amount for my camera using a company that was new to me. However, following payment, I went on eGlobal's chat line, and received excellent service. They kept me informed and were very helpful and constructive. It is open 24 hours a day. I also had next-day replies to my emails. Meanwhile, using a tracker no: I was able to see the progress of my item as handled by Quantium solutions on the internet. The only worry I had was that this courier service was / is highly criticised on the internet. What you must do is to calculate the number of working days (i.e. Monday to Friday) and then you can expect your item within the given time frame. So, unlike me, be patient and do let them know if you have problems by using their excellent chat service.

My camera was properly boxed and had all of the parts etc. Note that I got a instruction manual in Japanese (I think) but this is no big deal because you can down-load the manual from Nikon's web site.

So, all-in-all, I was very pleased and would certainly use eGlobal in the future.
