“NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR”

We reserved a 3 bed town house in Peterborough, paid our reservation fee, valuation and instructed solicitors. 2 weeks later the valuation came back as down valued by £5k, hence we could not proceed unless the house proce was dropped or we put up more deposit. Barratt were totally disinterested and said it was the mortgage companies fault, the company we used was recommended by THEIR mortgage advisor. The service from the sales office was shocking. We went down the road and reserved a Taylor Wimpey 4 bed house and from the first visit everything went smoothly, nothing was too much trouble. Complete opposite to Barratt. Be warned, read the reviews and buy from another builder.
