“What a nightmare experience at Creare!!”

I honestly don't know where to start. Firstly I never write bad reviews as I feel it unfair based on your one experience. However this company are truly unbelievable. I also hope my review will stop another company making the same costly mistake we did. At first we were impressed, sales team are good at their job. Soon as you've signed up though its a very different story. Customer service is just absolutely shocking, to the point where you are in actual disbelief at how you are being treated. Rarely can you speak to anyone, always in a 'meeting' or at lunch. Many of the staff are totally arrogant and have a very basic knowledge of what they do. Creare uses a lot of these so called 'black hat' techniques. To be honest you used to be able to get away with it, but google will now penalise your website for such bad behaviour and you'll loose your ranking. The expensive blogs they write are a total joke, mainly just regurgitated from your keyword stuffed website content and include countless links to other companies. Ask for a quick amendment that would take less than 5 minutes and they'll charge you £150 plus vat!! Our website went down many times, when you finally get through to someone their answer is always 'Yeah ours went down too'. Very helpful Creare, problem is you get your own website up and running within 10 minutes and leave everyone else without their's for days! The best bit was when I asked them to explain what they actually do on our website to justify the expensive monthly payments. They couldn't answer me!

I feel so relieved to have long moved away from these people, it was a very stressful time to go through. They certainly make it as difficult as possible for you to leave them. One positive thing out of our experience with Creare is that it has taught us an invaluable lesson, albeit costly. Educate yourself about SEO and do your research before you pick a company to work so closely with. I'm waiting to see Creare on Watchdog one day, can't think it will be long.
