“YAHOO DOESN'T LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!”

written by on 15/10/2013

Recently Yahoo Mail switched to a new version, without asking or warning their customers. The new version is HORRIBLE, and they do not allow people to keep using the old version. We should have a choice; their is a reason we were Yahoo customers: we prefered this format over Gmail. But now they have removed the only features that made it different from Gmail, so now it's just a cheap immitation which is useless to me. Customers have been requesting over and over again: bring the tabs back where you can switch between open emails, let emails remain separate instead of in a conversation thread, put the send and reply/forward buttons back at the top of the page where it makes more sense, return the sorting options that are no longer available in this "new and improved" version, etc................... !!!!!!!!

However,Yahoo hasn't listened to the thousands of people that have been trying to make them realize what a horrible decision the new changes are. They don't listen because they know that now Yahoo Mail is similar to Gmail, so they believe no one will switch (which is true: why switch if they’re the same?). But OUTLOOK mail has similar features to the old Yahoo version (except for the tabs unfotunately), so people who have stuck with Yahoo precisely because they prefer those features should switch. I opened an Outlook account today. Maybe if everyone else who is unhappy with the new version switches, Yahoo will realize they should listen to their customers. Otherwise we are just wasting our time posting comments, because NO ONE AT YAHOO IS LISTENING.
