“Terrible service from Aviva”

We had a burst hot water pipe in May. It took Asprea, who were appointed to do the work by Aviva, over three months to even get the laminate floor up so it could be dried.
They left tiles with asbestos in them right next to cold air blowers, even though the tiles were cracked and broken. Now they are saying that the broken tiles were not posing any risk!
We had to move out due to the filth and having no cooking facilities etc... We were booked into hotels for three or four nights, and would then have to phone up to chase where we would be staying. I once had to phone up after 5:00 on Friday afternoon because we had nowhere to stay on the Monday.
When we passed our concerns on to Aviva the staff member referred to them as "gripes", which we found a strange way of talking about it. She couldn't even have the decency to spell my name right. We have been made a derisory offer that the member of staff has not even bothered to explain.
Absolutely rubbish service from a company who have made the last 5 months a nightmare for us. I wouldn't recommend home insurance from Aviva to anyone.
