We hired a car in August for one week. They were extremely busy when we returned the car to Heathrow and my husband didn't get them to check the car (we were rushing to get to the airport), they just parked it and said it was fine. We have now received an email to say that they was a slash to the tyre? They want over 300 pounds for the damage and worryingly staff seemed to have forged my husbands signature on the hire form to sign for the damage (my husband didn't sign when he returned the car). If there had have been damage we had already taken out a policy to cover the excess so it would have cost us nothing. They may be cheap compared to other hire companies but we will NEVER use them again.
