I have just been intoned by the avis office in marseille that the Internet is not correct and the car classification is wrong.
I have have paid for a higher class vehicle and been given a smaller vehicle,my options are pay for the 10 day rental and return the car and deal with the issue once the payment is made.
Avis France advised me to never use the Internet and make all bookings over the phone. ( great when you live in australia)
