Where do I start, Vancouver accommodation brilliant - a wonderful trip through the Rockies with Brewsters Coaches and their drivers were most informative. Everything went like clockwork and the weather at 36 degrees made the scenery even nicer. Accommodation throughout the Rockies brilliant apart from the Deer Lodge, Lake Louise -tired, old, carpets/furniture in the room badly in need of replacement, staff disinterested, meals not brilliant-only upside to this accommodation was that the bed was comfortable and clean. Calgary accommodation very nice, staff wonderful, Kitchen and pool were still being fixed after the floods - complimentary continental breakfast was given because of this and free use of the laundry room. Sheraton Centre Hotel at Toronto not to be recommended for holiday makers. More for business people! The foyer lovely and that is where it ends. Reception staff were efficient, the rest of the staff apart from our maid/cleaner could not have cared if we were there or not. Cracked sink in the room and another couple said a condom was found under the bed - swimming pool covered in flies. No I would not recommend either the Deer Lodge or the Sheraton Centre hotel. However all in all a wonderful holiday experiencing some beautiful sites. Walked off my feet though in Toronto - not my cup of tea.
