When I rented the car online, I gave them my American Express Card number and yet when I picked up the car in Chicago, the attendant told me he ran the card twice and it wouldn't work so I had to put it on another card. However, when I went to use my American Express card after he told me it would not work, it, in fact, worked just fine. I realized he did not want to accept my American Express card and just told me it would not work. I get cash back from using my American Express card and I believe he was wrong in doing what he did and lying about it.
