I recently booked the hoteltravel.com for accommodation in Kyoto and have deeply regretted it. On there web site I read the terms and conditions and the no refund or alterations policy. I booked a Superior room, at the time of the booking there was no information on the room about bedding configuration, but was never notified about the bedding configurations upon confirmation email, which had to be requested though there phone customer service line.
Upon receiving the confirmation was I given the information that bedding configuration would be provided at the hotel upon check in!! All to late, after they had taken the money from my credit card and several emails to the company were no help, just avoiding my customer complaint that this information was not provided on there web site and offered to pay more for a double bed were not addressed. Now stuck in a twin room with a partner who is 6ft 5.
Phoned the service line again and they were no help and just not interested and just wanted to hang up before you could finished what you were saying.
