Shocking company and customer service, left us stranded. After our car received a punctured tyre, we found that they didn't have a spare instead one of those kits which didn't work. Called their "24hr emergency line" and were put on hold after which the we were disconnected.
After finding someone who was kind enough to help who was also cut off during the first attempt. They sent out a recovery truck that simply said theres nothing I can do and took the car. We were left stranded on the outskirts of a foreign city with no other contact from Avis. They also charge you for a full tank of fuel even if yours if 4/5ths full.
