If you can go during school term time, bring your own picnic and do not pay anywhere near the full price for a ticket, then maybe it's worth a shot. Otherwise, it's a disappointing nightmare.
The rides are, frankly, pathetic. For example - the dinosaur "safari" - queue for an hour for a ride lasting 2 minutes past some plastic brick creatures. What museaum did they get these things from and how have they managed to stay open for so long?
This is a classic example of greedy park owners packing as many people through the gates as possible just to sell them junk food and other asoerted tat.
Some of the rides could have been good if only some expansion had taken place over the years - heaven knows the park's big enough.
Most of the kids seemed to enjoy the water splash area and the playground the most. So do yourself a favour and go to the local leisure pool followed by a picnic at the park - you'll have a much better time and will save hundreds.
Bottom line, don't do it - the life you save may be your own.
