I have been banking with the Clydesdale for 30 years and have already closed my business account, and the only reason I haven't closed my account is I'm so busy as it's a moammoth job changing everything over. I dread calling them up for anything as their telephone manner is appalling 90% of the time. They must have training in 'how to frustarte customers'!
They ask stupid questions and make life as difficult as possible. They obviously don't think they are there to give their customers a service. They pass you from pillar to post for such simple requests, then say they will call you back and they often don't. If they by some miracle they do call back then you have to go through the whole process again of answering stupid questions. Things that should take 5 minutes can literally take days to sort out.
Give this bank a very wide berth, there is much better out there. The only positive thing I can say is I can use their website quite easily.
