Salesman - no boring patter with offers of 99% discounts, just a good price straight off the bat - 9/10
Surveyor - Did his job well, everything fitted when it came - 9/10
Installation - Fantastic bunch of guys, knew what they were doing, friendly, tidy, efficient, what more could you ask for? - 10/10
Management - Well...... that's where it starts to deteriorate I'm afraid. The Surveyor had designed our full length windows a certain way with a ledge as we requested but the installation details had not been conveyed to the workers, cost us a day.
We had been promised that everything including installation, plastering and painting would be completed within a week of starting. After installation we had to phone to see when the rest was going to happen and were told 3-4 weeks away! Three phone calls later and two guys appeared within the week. It seems that the office staff had not coordinated the entire process, poor stuff.
We now, a further 2 weeks down the line, still have a small snagging list where two doors do not fit quite as they should, some sealant requires to be finished off and there's a chipped window needs replaced. Two phone calls led to no response from 'The Manager' despite promises to the contrary, a third one today and we have an appointment next week! Hopefully will all be sorted before winter. - 4/10 for the after fitting service CR Smith, very poor, should the organisation not be the easy part?
