Good Points
Excellent for long range vermin control, as it is super accurate with the right pellet, also very quiet when fitted with bsa volumetric silencer (i use this rifle and also the firebird for pest control and it has not let me down yet).
Bad Points
The standard barrel version tends to be slightly front heavy and when you add on the silencer it is a bit long.
General Comments
I am using this BSA Spitfire air rifle for the pest control work i am doing at the moment along with the firebird. I did initially buy the firebird at first for short range ratting work but, with being so amazed with the accuracy of the firebird carbine, i started using it for all my shooting as it was so light. Then i decided to try the spitfire hf and again was so amazed with the accuracy that i bought the spitfire also. I now use both for a lot of pest control that i do.
If you buy one of these guns i would be very surprised if you were not impressed, esspecially when you can buy them for such a cheap price.
