I'd like to think that I know enough about cars to not be sold a complete dud but telling an average car from one that was a genuinely sound purchase was proving a little trickier than I imagined. Was someone who advertised as 'a dealer' offering more peace of mind or might that be a Del Boy?

It was a relief to hand all this over to Clever Car Buyer. I don't normally like to pay someone anything when I could do it myself. I am sure I could fit a new kitchen after a trip to Ikea.
