“Great customer service and response time!”

I am new to using online resources for visual content for presentations. I checked out several sources for what I needed and dreamstime had the best selection of images that fit what I wanted to convey to my audience and a reasonable price for my limited budget. I signed up, chose my images and used that to determine how many points I would need to purchase. Since this was my first time, I wanted a low-commitment relationship.

When I prepared to download my first image, I noticed that by default the "extra large" size was selected and I changed that to "medium". Then I decided to go back and look at something else on the site; when I returned to the image download the "extra large" size was again marked by the default. I re-set it to "medium" and prepared to download but had to do some administrative task (sign in again?), I don't recall what it was. Then I hit the download button and the image looked great. I returned to my lightbox to grab the next image and the tally said I didn't have enough points left. I thought, WHAT??? so I went to look at the image...sure enough, while I was doing the admin task the default re-set the size and now I had a big picture I didn't want and had spent most of my points. AARGH!

I dashed off a note to dreamstime telling them what had happened and they responded very quickly and made it possible to remove the incorrect image, download the size I had wanted, and then spend my restored credits to get the other images I needed. All this was done in such a short time frame...maybe an hour total...that my project could still be completed on time, I kept within my budget, and the end result was great.

I will definitely use dreamstime again and purchase a subscription. With my customer service background I am usually very critical of how others perform in this area, but I was very impressed with dreamtimes' customer service as well as the quality of the images.
