This was our second CRSmith conservatory and was commissioned after consulting two other companies. CRSmith's rep was by far the most authoritative in developing solutions to our difficult location - a courtyard surrounded by two house walls and two garden walls - and the large size of conservatory required. The workmanship of the joiners and stonemasons was excellent, with the two sandstone pillars perfectly matching the 100 year old house walls and the lead work described as "beautiful " by the council surveyor! The joiner also went the extra mile to give us the finish we wanted. He built two hardwood panels to cover two areas of plastic covered wall to match the terrific herringbone box designed and built to conceal the ugly and awkward exterior piping.
Two minor criticisms:
1. The freelance electricians were less helpful than the joiner and stonemason.
2. The need to travel from Dunbar to Dunfermline to see the final design and view examples of the materials and workmanship is less than convenient. Why not, for a small consideration, make arrangements with previous customers (like us)in the locality to facilitate a short viewing ?
