Went into the store looking for a new bike having done the usual trawl of internet and stores. Browsing the bike section, approached by staff member who was helpful, knowledgeable and REALLY wanted to help, not pushy, helpful. Contrast this to Halfords where I have visited a couple of times, dragging one of the three staff away from the desk to some unhelpful and lack-of-knowledge almost "buy it is you want" attitude, the difference is outstanding.
I was notified of the price promise by the sales staff (find it anywhere and they match it less 10%), and by god, they did it! Out with the Iphone, google to item, hit "shopping" and they match the cheapest price!!!! Now most retailers (TVs / white goods in my experience) will blag and say it must be from a real "store" and not an on-liner...not here, the best price is the best price.
Summary: they are going to need a bigger car park, and others should now be worried. This is the way to run a store and treat customers.
