We have just spent the weekend at Lime Tree Holiday Park in Buxton and were over the moon with the site and the friendliness of the staff. A warm welcome with some added local information about what to see and where to eat was a nice touch.
The tent pitches are up a short steep hill (which you have to walk down to go to the toilet/shower block). The pitches are well set out with a large field at the top and lower terraces on the way up to the field.
Staff are extremely attentive to the site and the campers and work hard keeping the site clean and tidy. The shower/toilet blocks are kept clean with constant hot water. Could do with a bit of an update but adequate and clean.
Great for young kids with a small play area. We had our six year old daughter who made several new friends this weekend and had a ball. And our two Labradors loved it.
The camp is quiet after 10pm which is enforced by staff who do a 'sweep' of the site. Which is brilliant for us.. we like the quiet!
All in all I would stop here again. Not for those looking to party!
