iPhone 5 is the latest version of popular series of Apple's smartphone, the iPhone. This is the sixth generation mobile phone and succeeds iPhone 4S. There was a lot of hype regarding the release of iPhone 5 because Apple's tech nemesis Samsung was also coming up with their own mobile phone, Galaxy S3 to make competition stiffer than before. People were wondering what this phone had to offer. Well let's take a look at the iPhone 5 from the outside features to the ones embedded inside the phone itself.
There are several other improvements to look forward to in the iPhone 5, such as the visual quality and the panoramic view that it portrays. All you have to do is to switch to Panorama mode and be impressed by the 240 degree coverage. Look for less time on the charger as you will now have an improved battery life of approximately 8 hours of talk time, should you need it.
The headphone jack used to be on top of the iPhone but in the new iPhone 5 it is moved to the bottom. I'm not sure if that actually made sense because now if you place the phone on a cup holder in the car it will have to be upside down but as you pick it up it will be easier to use right away. The new configuration had something to do more with the actual internal parts and how they fit the previous design. Apple was able to make this new model thinner just by moving this accessory. Another major change is the new connector. It's called the lightning and it's very small and reversible. It is more solid and won't break as often. These two changes enabled Apple to make the iPhone 5 thinner.
The last changes are the new nano sim card slot, that introduces a new sim card again. Upgraded speakers and microphones are added to the changes as well. Crystal clear speakers are clear and undistorted. They have 3 microphones to help with video recording and noise cancellation.
