This is a great single speed MB. It's light, responsive and rewards exponentially the effort put through the cranks. Normally I use a 26er with an average fork. This rigid 29er is so much more stable and at the same time
light and fun. The build quality is superb - with everything you need and nothing you don't.
Moderate climbs can be dispatched much quicker than with a geared bike if you work - better direct drive efficiency. Steep climbs may require jumping off and push. Persevere and your strength will grow.
On the flat you are limited to a terminal velocity, but I don't think this will be an issue for most off roaders.
To sum up, you won't get better for the money.
