It's Tuesday the 23rd of July. I get married on Saturday and I've just been told I don't have a bus for my wedding. I was told an engine blew up on the weekend and they don't have anymore buses. They phoned around and said they couldn't get one. They gave me a modern yellow bus and an Addison Lee bus (too small) as an option. So I phoned around... All the other companies I spoke to were less than complimentary about the company. Having read the majority of these reviews I can see a pattern. When I went to cancel the order completely I explained the other options were not ideal and I could book them myself I also mentioned that other companies did not speak highly of them... To say the verbal reply was defensive is an understatement. I was quoted this website as proof of their service and that the last five reviews were great. Well not this one. I would question where they came from, no one goes online to write a good review. This is the first time I have bothered.
I would have dealt with this calmly but having heard from fellow reviews and people in the business I have been encourage to write this. On the phone I was told "I don't care what other people think" "They are jealous" "I would like the company names, I will take them to court". Possibly the most childish and unprofessional responses I have heard to someone cancelling a booking due to the fact that the person hasn't actually received the serviced they have paid for in full three months in advance. My last point to those reading and possibly the company in question is if they are the best and busiest company out there and all the others are jealous of their success and turnover why do none of those companies have any buses available? They are all busy and doing fine. I would worry about your service, not the service of your competitors.
Lets hope our guests won't be walking to the reception.
Word of advice: work on your phone manner.
