“A mixed bag”

I've seen more complaints about Asos all over the internet than I care to think about. I currently have an order on the way and it's my first from this company. Once I found out the tracking was rather shady, I started looking into Asos issues--and there are many. Here is what I've gathered...The free shipping is nice, but if you order over $200 then your package WILL be stuck in customs and you might have to pay up to $100 in fees to get it. Thankfully, my order is small. An order is sent to the USA by plane rather fast, but where it gets shady is the middle man. Asos uses a few carriers that are supposed to quickly hand packages over to either the USPS or Fed Ex, and they often don't. Your package could sit in a city for over a week, maybe two weeks, before it's moved/mailed. Customer service is next to no help. If Asos would learn from the big companies, they'd know UPS is the way to go---all on packages. Free shipping is not worth it if so many packages will be lost, and there is poor communication!
