I booked my hotel in Singapore for 10th July, given my credit card and upon then it prompted out confirmed. Little did I realized that my credit was being denied only upon calling the hotel that I wanted to modify the checking out date.
If I would not have called the hotel to modify the changes, I might have ended up with no room booking whereby the hotel will cancel due to the card denied. Also I did not receive any email confirmation on the 1st instant of the reservation confirmation the day or two after the internet reservation from booking.com
Booking.com website has a link where cancellation and modify rooms are allowed. But as I go into this link in My Manage profile, I could not modify but can cancel the booking whereby I will be charged a night room rate. So I send in the email request immediately.
After having said the above, the ending result of the service is very efficient and the Customer Service department called me an hour or so to verify with me. She has been very helpful and her service is fantastic and would like to thank her for her speedy and fast action in taking up and dealt with my request. I forgot to ask for her name and I like to thank her efficiency and polite manner.
She managed to talk to the Hotel to have my booking modified and advised me patiently how to update my new card details without no charge.
Booking.com should have more staff like her who will bring and upkeep the reputation of the company. Thank you once again. Applaud to her.
