We payed extra for a room with aircon and a room that the occupancy was for 2 but sleeps 3 adults bed and breakfast so that we had more space and were placed in a twin which slept 2 and it was very small and never would have even fit a camp bed in there!(accomodation booking ref.. ACM/7096058) and took it up with the hotel managers who showed me a copy of the booking from Cosmos and nowhere on their paerwork did it give the information that we had booked a room that sleeps 3, NOWHERE on the booking did it state aircon was payable locally.
Our holiday came to below £500 INCLUDING the credit card fee but found that once we payed for the holiday we were charged £511.10, we found the invoicing to be very poor too.
We also booked our shuttle through Travel republic and found that the driver on the way to the hotel got lost a couple of times and did not speak one word of English and on the return journey we had 2 drivers that did not know the area at all that constantly got off the bus asking directions and took 2 hours and 30 mins to collect all the passengers that should have taken around 40 mins as all the hotels were close by, we saw more of Turkey on this journey than we did travelling to the airport! they got constantly lost and travelled up and down the main dual carriageway 5 times each way, we went from one side of town back to the other to collect passengers again and again, back to the area we had been to on the pick up before last. After 2 hours of constantly getting lost (the passengers that were on the bus, including ourselves) were panicking as it was now only 2 hours until we got our flight and still we were looking for hotels, i rang the office emergency number to explain the situation as we had to be checked in within the next hour and the drive was 90 mins+ to Bodrum airport, they told me to "speak to the driver", i told them that was impossible as all they kept saying is "NO ENGLISH NO ENGLISH" and found them no help at all, also the phone call cost me £13.27 as i kept getting past from pillar to post! We eventually arrived at the airport with 25 mins before the flight and had to stand in big long queues to have our luggage scanned in 2 seperate areas and then check in and run for the plane and we arrived there 4 minutes before the plane started taxiing, i have a bad back and found the whole experience excruiciating.
My whole experience of TR was very disappointing from start to finish and certainly would not recommend a company that uses dirty broken hotels and transfer services that can't speak one word of English and don't know the ares at all and charges extra on the end of the amount paid for the holiday!
