“In store - Great. Online - Apalling”

I have have experienced great customer care in store but when it comes to ordering online or by telephone...well just don't. You will receive numerous e-mails promising deliveries that never materialize.Calling customer care is useless. The stock availability online is simply not to be trusted. They will take payments for bikes they do not possess. I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing a bike to only buy from a store where you leave with the bike. Failing that, if you must deal with Evans then call them and ask directly, "Do you have xxx bike ready for delivery NOW?". If the answer is, "no but we are expecting some in" then you must put the phone down and go elsewhere or you will be consigning yourself to a number of wasted days,waiting for deliveries that never arrive.
