The car was in good condition and suitable for our needs. With the insurance with the car I was then asked if I wanted to pay to insure the excess of £850. This I declined however When I returned the car they found a minute scuff on the front Bumper that could easily be polished out and a chip on the windscreen. They then said they charge the full excess, get an estimate and refund any difference. This is not fair practice. we all know that excess for windscreen replacement in the UK is £70 as it is covered by normal insurance also the Chip was out of the drivers vision and in a place that can be repaired at no charge. I will wait for the estimate which is a waste of time as I am not longer in the UK and not in a position to arrange alternate estimates. I suspect they will charge me for the complete replacement and not repair it. I certainly wont be using Nova again.
