“Rainy season in Tobago!”

Written on: 21/06/2013

The Hotel was under-populated so we were able to get to know everyone easily from the start. Luckily, we were with a great group of people and usually met up in the bar every night before dinner! Food was generally good but sometimes not every item on the menu was available because of local supply problems. However, due to the good humour of us patrons, this was not a real issue!
Room was a little "tired" but this not a big issue for us as the AC worked well as did the shower and the fridge.
The beach bar opened for lunch which gave us the opportunity of enjoying the beach and the challenging rolling waves as well as the snorkelling opportunities. There was plenty of overnight evidence of Leatherback turtles on our beach and we were lucky enough to actually experience for ourselves a few of them laying eggs on nearby Turtle Beach!
We understand that this hotel will be overhauled and updated during this season.
The weather was typical for the rainy season but we still returned home with a tan!
All in all we had a good time and would consider returning again.
Thanks to Mr Singh in the restaurant and Ali in the bar!!!
